make countless contributions to corporate America.
At the same time, women continue to be the primary
caregiver for children and the home. Women face
conflicting roles and responsibilities forcing us to
prioritize our career, social and family goals.
Wake Up Sistas purpose is to honestly address the
problems women face in real life. We select a topic
and a book each month that addresses an aspect of
womanhood and either challenges our perspectives
or provides help in overcoming problems. Our goal
is to educate each other and give women a place to
socialize and discuss problems in daily life.
