2015 Empowerment Through Education Conference
The conference has been moved to the Krikelas Room,
2nd Floor, of Central Library, 814 W Wisconsin Ave.
Nagoya is the Director of Educational Programming and Outreach for Wounded Wings: Association for the
Betterment of Women and Girls.  A faith based organization, Wounded Wings’ mission is to better the lives of women
and girls, by providing educational opportunities and support systems needed to create and reach goals for personal
success.  The organization promotes entrepreneurship and addresses issues of social justice.  

Nagoya is a graduate of Alverno College where she has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Management with
support areas in Adult Education and Psychology.  She has earned a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and
Organizational Development from Alverno as well.  LaToya is currently pursing a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies
at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee where she resides.
